RSX type S vs. Sky
well looks arent as important as quickness, she wants the "faster" of the 2 (RSX type S and Sky) and i figured it was the type S but didnt know if the Sky would surprise me w/ some good numbers.
I got an idea, wait a bit, then get the boosted sky
but if it's an I want it now thing, get the n/a sky
it's rwd, lighter, you can drift it (if that's your thing), it handles much better, looks alot nicer, etc

If your worried about speed get a diffrent car....annd those numbers don't really mean much...if i were you I would just test drive both cars...../thread.

I like the looks and handling of the Sky over the Solstice and the MX5.
There's a guy that put 400hp on the Ecotec 2.4L (the one that comes in the Sky and Solstice) That should tell you that the internals are pretty stout in stock form.
I'll find the link. I think he put it in the Solstice.
here it is from Solstice forums.... http://www.solsticeforum.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=19280

I read a consumer report on the sky/soltice, and it said the car had crappy gearing. I think it said they were too widely spaced out or something. If you are in the market for a cheap roadster stick with what is known to work. A miata or an S2000.
