tire size... will it fit??

Exclamation tire size... will it fit??

yeah i ordered some 18s with Kumhos..

i told the guy 215/35R18... but he sent me 225/40R18... will they fit on my 1990 Honda Accord LX?? will it make a difference on my speedo or anything??

215/35/18 = 23.93 inches tall
225/40/18 = 25.1 inches tall

That is a big difference in sizes. Speedo will definitely be off. Not sure if they will fit but I would get the correct size. What size is stock?

your speedo's already gonna be way off going from stock 90 accord rims to 18's.

225 would be the widest tires for 7" wide wheels.
That's what I'm currently running on up front.

As for the speedometer, just keep it under 100, and you will do fine.

If that's the case, wheel spacers and chamber are your friends to prevent rubbing.
And also fender rolling.
