spray painting question.....
i am painting a few things (sway bar, etc) that were bright colors from the factory. i am using krylon rust tough enamel (semi-flat black). i want the parts to be as chip-proof as possible. so should i clear coat them or just put more black on them? i dont really want anything shiny or abnormally nice looking i just want it to match the rest or the undercarage(sp) any help will be greatly appreciated!

Just use some undercoating.

Any auto parts store will ahve it. its is bsically asphalt disolved in solvents. It is nasty stuff, but once it is dry it wont come off easy.

I use spray epoxy from Home Depot. Looks shiny and clean.-Bob
