I still drive my 94 altima.
It wasnt the car so much that turned me to racing but the people i met at my job in pinellas county.

I still race my Alty around though, even though it has about 160 pounds of extra weight in it, auto tranny, and an altima of all things lol.
Its still pretty decent though
beat my friend's p.o.s. mazda protege (i think 00-03) with a new motor
zoom zoom my ass.

My first car was a brugandy 91 240sx coupe. Everything was bone stock besides the airbox I hacked the bottom off of to get that loud intake noise, but it got me to a few sunriders autocross events at SPC and a few slow passes down sunshine speedway untill it got beercaned by a drunk driver behind me that forgot to hit the brakes at around 45mph..... that bastard lol

mine is in my sig, bought with my own money from my dad, just like the dude above me, got me slowly down some 1/4s, around some auto-x courses, but thats all done for now until the new motor....saving saving

While not my first car....it was the one that made me realize that I can work on cars and helped ignite my racing passion. I bought it in Texas and trailered it here, my dad and I rebuilt the engine and driev train. Was fun to drive! Unfortunately a 23 year old guy (me) with a family and lots of bills couldn't hold onto my dream car and I sold it to a plastic surgeon. I'd love to find this car again and buy it back. I sold it in '98, its changed hands several times, so if anyone knows this car in the Tampa area let me know! Thanks.

I was into it before I got my first car. My friends had already gotten their cars and were into racing and going to car shows. My parents bought me my first car which was a 1994 Mitsubishi Mirage. I gave them a list of cars I would want them to get me and the Mirage was not on the list but I dealt with it.

My first car was given to be by my parents but it was not the car that I wanted they gave me a 1985 Dodge Aires, no ac and no fm radio. I hated it. But ever since I was in Middle School I wanted a Mitsubishi Eclipse.....and my senior year of High School I finally got one and still have it.
