Clearing weathered headlights?
Clearing weathered headlights?
I tried to search for this but nothing came up.
I just replaced one of my headlight assy's with a brand new one, and now the old one that DIDN'T break is obviously crappy looking compared to the new one. Not only does it look like shit, but when driving it's annoying having the passenger side beam brighter than my side's.
Any tips on products or techniques is appreciated. I think I might try to buff the old one tomorrow?... We'll see.
PS- The headlight lens is glass not plastic or whatever.

They ahve some stuff at Discount Auto that is supposed to restore it. Never tried it, don't really care to either.
You could always wet sand with liek 2000grit and then buff out the minor scratches, best bet.
