great, I cant wait until I get a used 06 Z06 for $30k, just because some moron will pay $30k over sticker price doesnt mean I can buy that same car for 50% off msrp 4 years later

I'm not even going to look at or comment on the Roush. That's an aftermarket tuner car and they can do anything, go up or down. Now, for your '03 example, are you sure you put up the right link? You do know MSRP was $33k, right?
Even with your $40k price, that's not a lot of depreciation by any means.

I wouldnt pay a dollar over sticker, Although it is nice... some people payed 6-8k over stick for a civic si..

I'd never pay dealer prices, period. I'll always buy used from people - in fact, the only used car dealer I ever bought from, I haggled down about 30-40% of the car's value. Buying new and buying marked up is kinda like a HUGE penalty for wanting to be super cool and have something most others don't. Never made any sense to me, but to each their own.
