want a beater car but dunno waht to get-
hey yall im looking for maybe a 2.5k to 3k car that has a capability of going fast. there are so many out there that i just dunno waht to get. i would like something with a strong drivetrain stock - it would be no 9 second monster just something to work on instead of the blazer (my DD).
im thinkin-
5.0 foxbody w/ homemade TT
third gen camaro w/ a 383 or something
just something that can go fast for cheap. i would like something that would just be fun- it would have stripped interior and everything- just a track car (and weekend bruiser)

i dunno they are what like mainly because they are what i know. i would like to brawden my scope of whats out there. something easy to work with- hoping kinda fuel injected. i can make it lightweight- just want something that is stong.

Z31 turbo can be made pretty quick for pretty damn cheap

When I first started reading your thread I immediately thought Foxbody..
You could probably get a pretty fast N/A 87-93 fox for $3k, but you're looking at at least another $3k to twin turbo it..

well if i did TT on the fox i would do it my self- and alot cheaper than 3k......
here is a set-up with twin t-3's but i would do much better welding than the bird shit welds on here-
