Default whats a good wheel cleaner?

I was wondering what everyone here uses to clean/shine their wheels.

I need something strong enough to get deep grease marks and brake dust that accumulated on my wheels over time. Ive used hot wheels wheel cleaner sometimes, its ok. I need something stronger though.

Any ideas?

If you have aluminum/chrome/polished wheels I would go with the Eagle 1 cloth in a can. If you have "other" wheels, just put some mild dish washing soap in a bucket of water and be prepared to use some elbow grease.

arm and hammer sells some stuff that you spray on and let sit and it takes like all of the dust and grime off.plus its pretty cheap.

i work at a metal shop. and we clean all types of metals the best thing that you can get at the grocery store is "simple green" if you know someone who works at a machine shop you might be able to get it in a concentrated form. its non corrosive works on everyting

TRT makes "Turbo D", which is green degreaser. Definetly the best stuff I've used. Pressure wash it off and dont forget to whipe off the wheel afterwards, else it'll get dirtier than it was
