I've found 2 fishing rods washed up on the beach. Found another 4 or 5 fishing rods laying on the bottom when I was diving. My dad pulls the reels apart and cleans them out, then they're good as new. One of them was probably a 250 dollar rod/reel combo that I found laying in the water next to a dock at a Marina.

 

I found really long clear balloons with cloudy white spit in the end of them.
