So im starting to work under the hood...
I'm starting with the basic shit... last weekend i adjusted the alternator on my uncles 91 ford tempo. Next time i'm over there we're gonna change the oil and i was wondering if discount autoparts or some other car parts shop would let us use their lift or something... since i have no idea how to change oil i dont know what i'd need... so any advice would be nice too

all you need are ramps to drive the car on. it raises the front of the car about a foot so you can crawl underneath. and the only place i know of w/ lifts for rent is the hobby shop on macdill afb.

go spend $30 on a hydrolic jack and some jack stands at wallmart and have fun working on your back.
