NOW, I do admit there are assholes that blow these things WAY too much. I might blow mine once in a croud of people but that will be it, not every two seconds. It is kind of dangerous with the old people, and I try my hardest not to do it when Im around old people. But the only reason people dont like them is b/c they dont have them. I mostly use it on the highway or when some dumbass soccer mom comes charging into my lane, and no they dont turn off their engines b/c they dont know what the hell is honking at them. OVERALL I give em a TTEEEEENNNNNNNNNN!!

Oh, and BTW I have never gotten a ticket for having these and have honked them right next to a cop on the road and in parking lots(usually not knowing it until Ive already honked it) As of right now they cant give you a ticket for having them, b/c they are not illegal, and as you said they can only give you a noise ordinance ticket and they have to catch you hit the button for the horn(good luck)

its a nice truck i would too.
Even if they do run off the battery. i have the problem of having a place to put them. I cant stick them under the car, im only 5inch off the ground. I cant stick them in the engine bay do to no room.
