need some help

does any body know what i need to do for my 89 crx 5spd tranny 3rd and 4th gear is burned up there is nothing and second jumps out . any body got any tips. thanks...

buy a new tranny, they are cheap as anything. you can find a si tranny for 100 bucks easy

yea but my car needs a cable trany its a 89 the kid i got it from said that if i was to put a new trany it would slow it down.thats the last thing i need is to be even slower.thanks

88-91 trannys are all cable, it will only make you faster if you put a si tranny in your car, whoever you got it from doesnt know what they are talking about

a tranny wont make your car faster, it will jsut make you shift diffrent, the only way to make a car faster is to either, add more hp, torque, or lighten the load.

Driving definitions: Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and Torque is how far you take the wall with you.
