Don't ask what got into me tonight, but my friend and I decided to paint my hood hinges! I personally have never met anyone with it done (not saying nobody has done it) and I recently pulled the left one from a red 240 @ LKQ and I really wasnt feeling the rusty red with my dirty white... so hate it, love it, flame me and call me a ricer all you want but hey, its something different and it looks halfway decent. So, what do you guys think? (no harsh bashing please)

you can see them!!! im VERY anal about looks, and cleaness..i scrubbed the hell outta my engine bay, including the part that the motor rests on, and that is something you dont see, i just know its dirty and i feel better knowing its clean..same with my hinges...and it fits the theme of my car.

I was wondering, why pink, but then I looked at the name and the pic of the car in the sig and it made sense. paint job looks decent, no noticeable drips. If the hinge was that bad before then I would have had to do something as well, the last thing you want is to open your hood and have anyone whose there immediately catch sight of the ugly junkyard crap that you had to use. I don't think it's any different than painting your block, heads and valve cover, so if it is rice then all the big muscle car guys have a shitload of rice under the hood.

 

Pink is the coolest color now.

Why not just paint your entire car pink and take it to s14monkey, who can install black/white checkered interior panels?
