I have headers, no cat, and a bullet muffler....but cops love me?

 

Even though its an LT1, its damn near impossible to have a crappy sounding V8!

 

I have had plenty of cops complement me on my car, even when I got popped for street racing.

 

1) You arent a ricer dude, dont be offended. You have the best looking WRX I've ever seen.

2) You live in a far different area than Tampa. Sarasota cops are incredibly badass and understanding, topped off only by Venice cops. They dont seem to be in it for the money; rather actually to do their job and for safety. As I said long ago, I thank every cop I see.

Before you bitch and moan and be immature to them, think of what they have to go through some times; maybe even people like you

 

I agree to an extent. As you said, depending on the area, they get a certain amount of respect for me. When I got caught I didnt get mad at anyone but myself, paid the fine, did my time, and got over it because I knew it was my fault. But just last week I was with a friend when he was pulled over in his S2000. I couldnt believe how rude the cop was to him, I almost wanted to ask what the fuck his problem was. I see no point to being a smartass to the person you are pulling over, it does nothing but give police a bad name, even though there are good cops out there. On top of that he had to try to make him feel bad for speeding by using, of all people, ME!!! he asked my friend what would you do if you had to call his parents and tell them he died in an accident that you caused for speeding... What a fucking joke, he was going 60 in a 45. Then he proceded to point at his cusco roll cage and tell him how unsafe it is to have it on his car and how much of a false sence of security it is... Why... What fucking relevence is that to speeding. I know there are good cops out there because I have delt with them, but there are the same if not more asshole cops make up for it.
