Saturn Sky test drive
Not if GM screwed up like they did on the Solstice, they didn't even produce enough to meet the needs of customers that put down a deposit on one at sticker price many months ago. Now they have ticked off customers that won't be getting there cars and missed out on profits something they can hardly afford right now.......
I got a chance to watch a few Solstices run at the auction. They were doing above MSRP. Nuts

I wont be satisfied until they come out with the next MazdaSpeed MX-5...they should just go ahead and put their 2.3 DISI turbo engine in it! If they wont, I wouldnt mind trying one day in my first gen

You won't see them in Spring Hill unless some of the employee's have em. They are built up in Delaware along side the Solstice. You get to look at the ION all day long there but they will be shutting that line down here within the next year or so to retool and build a newer version of the ION and possibly a Chevy there too.

As far as Saturn goes, I like some of their vehicles. I wanted to buy a 99 SC2 for my first car, but it didn't work out. All in all though, most of their cars are nasty. I really hate to say it, but other than the Vue, their half decent SUV, Saturn's are made for old people. Plain and simple. Nothing against people who have Saturns that are modded out and stuff, but if you have a stock Saturn, ecspecially one of their 4 door cars, yu probably are old. They are great quality cars, they just are some of the most visually unattaractive cars Ive ever seen.
However, the Sky does look to be the future of Saturn. I really like the Sky, and my dad might be buying one in the future, and it sounds like from what you guys have said here that it will be a very long time in the future.
Sky looks to be a great car, the red line sounds like it should be real nice. I hope to see more in production though. Saturn seems to be going with the whole game that Mercedes and BMW do where they never order enough per dealership to test drive. The sad truth is that most people wont want to buy a car that they can't test drive in the dealership. Saturn isn't at that level yet, and they need to get at least a few of these cars to sit on their lot, or at least have one set aside for test driving. I think having one set aside as a default test driver is probably the best idea for them to go with, considering they don't want to order enough so that you have to be on the waiting line until the end of this year!
