Cheap cars to insure
I need to find a car that will not hurt me when it comes to insurance. Its gotta ba fairly new (1998+) and a 4 cyl. too. Is it true its typically cheaper to insure trucks?

the cheaper the car and less likely to be stolen the cheaper the insurance usually
I'd say any economy car should be within the same range, but hondas tend to have a high theft rate

A good car is a nissian sentra SE R spec V. 4 cylinder, decent get up and go, alot to work with preformance wise, 4 door sedan.

i just bought a 2001 jetta and my insurance dropped $350 a year from my 1996 sunfire.. pretty gay since i now have full coverage when my sunfire didnt have anything. anyway, for full coverage i my jetta is at $1558 a year and im 20. my sunfire was $1900 (more than my car is worth).
i also checked out the infiniti g20 and that was really cheap too. it will be in the same price range as the sentra SE-R spec v.

Any car can be cheap to insure. Just have the bare minium coverage.

I pay $2280 for my T/A and thats full coverage im 22 and the car puts down 300rwhp *edit*

Eh, has to be some car that rarely gets into accidents and usually parts are cheap. But it being 98+ you'll still be paying a pretty good insurance price. All depends on your driving record and age, etc.

Actually my Miata has been the cheapest car to insure..so much so that I pay just an extra $200 for middle coverage over basic. Its a 93, but I'm 16 so a 98 or so shouldnt be too bad if you are 20+
