Nascar... Street Courses..

I know most of you guys love to hate nascar... but today they are running on the street course In Mexico .. I love watching the cars taking right and left turns.. What always gets me is how teams will pull there oval guys and run street guys like Boris Said and Denny Hamilon... I always am amazed that these pro driver cant take right turns...

Right Now on Fox 13... The Top Ten re all Street Aces.. Tony Stewart isnt racing this week which is odd... and Boris Said is killing everyone...

yeah, its cuz they can't multi-task, ie gas AND turn/brake/check mirrors, whoa, whoa whoa, one step at a time

That's entertainment!
Is it OK to call someone stupid when they get *paid* to race, whether good or bad?
Is it smart to get a driver for your team car and make money if: 1. They pay for the ride?, and 2. If they can roadrace and make money for your team?

from my understanding though, this race doesnt count for anything, so none of the really big name nascar drivers came out

I think you need elaboroate on what you mean, cause from a racing stand point it sounds much more entertaining than watching a race at bristol or something

It was a Busch race, which is why Stewart, Gordon, Earnhardt, etc. weren't running.

The ringers like Boris Said and Ron Fellows have their hands full when they go up against the Nextel guys, which happens twice a year and Jeff Gordon is as good of road racer as anybody. Earnhardt ran the Rolex24 in a C5R with his dad a few years ago.

It's not that they "can't" make right turns, it's just not their main venue.
