Champ Car/ IRL Merger??
Ok don't know if you guys read/heard about this already but I found this article on Speedtv.com about a possible Champ Car/IRL merger that has finally been gaining steam with a meeting of the two series' presidents. Anyone think this an awesome idea that might save the sport of open-wheel racing in the states? Or do you not care at all?
(If they merge they better keep coming to St.Pete that race was awesome last year!!)

Yes, that would be great for the sport. T George must feel like an ass.
They will keep the STGP as it has been run by both leagues and I believe it's one of the few races that is profitable.
