Trouble with re-wiring corner lights...

Trouble with re-wiring corner lights...
ok so i took the wiring for the headlights off of my friends civic he just crashed and i wired that to my corner lights..... why? i did it so that the headlights would match the bulbs. so essentially i have 4 headlight bulbs (2 on each side). but i keep blowing the parking light fuse bc the headlights need too much power. is there anything else i can wire them to or maybe another type of bulb i can buy?

Wire the headlights to the headlight wiring. Parking lights won't have enough amps to also light headlights.
Next solution: Wire the battery to a Relay from Radioshack to activate the headlights. If you need some help, let me know. -Bob 839-4281 usually after 1030/11pm most nights.
