Project Civic
Going to be starting a little project on my current 89 Civic HB.
Current Status on car.
- 155,xxx miles
- 4 speed tranny.. (Horrible on highway)
- Back left end got hit.
- Peeling light blue paint
- Interior is clean.
Im not gonna do a b16, which i really want to..
But I dont know what im doing for that, so im just gonna do a D15a with 5speed.
Plans:
- D15a + 5speed. (This will help with highway, etc)
- SI Rims
- Shocks and Springs.. (Thinking about a drop, dont know)
- New front and rear bumpers.
- CRX Center console
- Black headlights and tailights.
- Mazda Lazer Mica Blue paint job.
- The side plastic pieces... I want the door to be flush down the side. What is the best way to fill these. Bondo i think would be too much. So i thought about getting a thin piece of sheetmetal or something and tacking it on there, then sanding, etc....
Any pointers on any of this would be greatly appreciated.
I am looking for all the pieces except for engine + tranny. Unless you know of someone for cheaper than $500.
If any body cares, or whatever, i will post progress with pictures and such as it goes along...

go with a d series with a disco potato and like 8 pounds. you'd have good response, and it would be fun as hell to drive, and not too expensive either.
