I have a set of wheels with a fairly new chroming job. I was wondering if anyone has had their wheels chromed before. There are a few knicks on the wheels, and I wondered if chroming could be patchwork, as in just going over the chips and knicks, without having to redo the whole wheel. Also, would chrome work from one shop look considerably different from that of another? I.E. would it be a different tint or luster depending on who chromed them? Thanks in advance.

 

You were able to find a local place that did chroming? I was told the only places that did a decent job were out in Cali?

 

Nope, haven't even started looking. I have no idea who did the chroming on these wheels last. That was three owners ago.
