id say the gt. but if its gonna screw you over for work or money, then go with the truck. save some insurance, know that you will be set with work, and probably get better gas mileage. i dont know what engines came in them, but im guessing they dont have a v8.

It's just a beater, get the cheapest one. I would go for the contour as long as it is a manual. The truck would be my next pick cause it would be very useful. I would leave the mustang for last. Old mustangs are nice, but not stock ones. The only mustang I would ever leave stock is something worth collecting like an SVT, SVO, or classic mustang. The only thing that redeems all other 80's mustangs is the fact that you can mod them and make them very fast. A stock 80's mustang is almost as redneck as a 80's camaro.

86 GT - I saw the thread with the pics of this car, looks pretty good. It has A/C too and what seems like a well maintained motor in it. I'd grab it.
