Default salvaging headers

how can you tell if headers are repairable or not?

what is too much rust ? I'm looking to buy some used mac mids but I need to know how to tell if its even worth trying to restore them..

since the mac mids are so cheap I plan on just ceramic coating them.. and sandblasting/steel wool/sandpaper whatever it takes to get the surface ready for ceramic coating.. and make them look good..

how much rust is too much?

what would you use to get the rust off of that thing?

and high temp paint.. 3-4 coats will make it look better?
