10w-30 vs 10w-40 Synthetic Oil

10w-30 vs 10w-40 Synthetic Oil
Question, what is better for my application? My turbo is both oil and water cooled, but because its cooled by the oil, im curious as if I should add a thicker oil (perhaps 10w-40) because when the oil gets hott im sure it things out, and going to a thicker brand should help out with cooling and keeping the oil lubing the parts correctly?
