Actual 2009 Camaro pic... *NOW WITH VIDEO*
mms://c9o.earthcache.net/woc-01.medi..._camaro_hi.wmv
"Muscle: That's the first word that comes to mind upon seeing Chevy's concept Camaro. Big-time muscle. Enough to possibly make Arnold think about switching allegiances within the GM family. Build it and they will come; drop the 500-plus-bhp Corvette Z06 engine into a Z28 version and name your price.
Andrew Bornhop, Editor, R&T Specials, provides the insightful commentary to the accompanying video. Among the numerous bits of info, Bornhop reports that the new Camaro could launch as a 2009 model. AARRGGHH! We can't wait that long! Mr. Lutz: Commit to a 2008 model launch and watch the buyers line up.
Look for a full report from Detroit Editor Matt DeLorenzo in the March 2006 issue of Road & Track."

Dodge Challenger called...they want their entire body and wheels back.
Front end is too ugly...I prefer the 80s Camaro front ends. Make it closer to a real 69. Buick called and wants it's grill back

Uh... there were leaked pictures of the Camaro before the Challenger. I mean, it's not like chevy saw what Dodge was doing and totally changed the front end of the fucking car in a week.

Perhaps...the drawings I saw WERE leaked a long time ago, and I honestly didnt believe it, but after seeing this, its really quite suspicious how close the body is to the Challenger...both even have the same text chrome letters signifying their names.

The pictures posted WERE NOT DRAWINGS. They were pictures of the actual concept

Ah yes, THOSE pictures. I was thinking about that car...tailights scream "too much Corvette"
I agree with whoever said that everyone is doing the retro craze now because they dont make anything good anymore and are trying to go back to stuff that people liked way back when.

The '68 Camaro had those rear body lines....as did many other muscle cars of that era. It would be ignorant to call this car a "Challenger ripoff".
Why bitch/moan about the new "retro craze"? I don't see any problems throwing a bit of history into modern cars. Obviously the Challenger, Mustang, Camaro, etc were some of the most popular muscle cars in their time. I like to see a bit of the original car in the new designs.
