When you set a tune on one car (for this question, we'll call it: Car A), then want to go to another car (Car B) to tune it with the same Predator tuner, but forget to delete the saved settings from Car A, it won't let you tune any other cars.

The problem is just that: The said Predator unit was used on another car. The tune settings weren't deleted off of it when it was removed. That car is long gone and there is another car that the Predator needs to be used on. In order to tune this new car, the old settings have to be deleted/unlocked.

Is there a way to do this without plugging it back into the car the settings/tune was done on?

FYI: This the Diablosport Predator tuner for GM cars, specifically a 99 Z28 Camaro.

I went to Diablosport's website but their knowledge base isn't working for me (giving me an SQL error!). They are also nice enough to not list a phone number on their website for support.

Any help would be appreciated

Might have to take the car to him anyway for a tune after we finish building it. I just checked Diablosports website and it might not be possible. I'm thinking a new tuner might need to be purchased.

 

What I had to do when I bought a Superchips Tuenr off Ebay. It came vin locked so I was fubar'd.

 

i know on the mustang ones, you must reset the tuner back to stock before you can use it on another car. no way around it. diablo wont set it back to stock but they will sell you another one at a discount. its a paper weight unless you find the old car.
