Limo is 5% as far as I know. The numbers represent the amount of light transmission through the tint. So 5% means 5% of the light hitting the tint actually goes through. From what I remember Florida law says that 28% is legal on the front passenger windows, 15% on rear passenger, and 15% on rear windshield.

So what's the legal limit for the front windshield. Is it the one after 28%? or none at all? Where did you find this info?

Just get 5% all around and you'll be fine.

My old car had limo all around, and the stock black tint strip and it was fine, I see no reason to tint the front windshield.

Sorry. I misunderstood your post. That's what I'll probably do. Just need to find the arrow/line/mark on the windshield for the "sun strip."
