The Cheap-Knockoff Thread
ive seen about 10 rotas do that, including that one.
i didnt really say they are pieces of shit, just that they arent original, and are all copies, and knockoffs.
but either way, i wont put them on my car.

seen SSRs bend all the time, seen volks break like in that photo, seen OEM wheels do the same thing countless times. No wheel is indestructable and rotas are no worse than any other wheel out there. I had a couple sets and never had a single problem on the track or street.
Every wheel is susceptible to failure no matter what.

To all of the replys to the Red i belive "Circuit" Rota rim that is broken. It was broken by a guy that had them on his ITR and was on a track run. Rotas are not a bad brand if you look at them. They had a bad batch of rims that had to be discontinued and recalled so if your rim broke and you sent it in to rota they would replace it free of charge and "re-emburse" you for the shipping charges (cant spell that
). I've curbed one of my slipstreams and it was cracked pretty bad and i drove on it for about 3-4 days and it was still fine (I switched them of course). Also i got rear-ended and it put a deacent sized lip on my rear rim and did not affect any ride performence at all. And when i curb my slipstream i was like damn that sucks, but if it was a Spoon rim i would have died and been out a large 450$ for one rim. But instead i can go buy a brand new rota for 100$ if that.
And as for the fact of the other rims. Atleast rota dost not call there Slipstreams or Track R's; Spoont or Heart Racers RPC's.
