Default Why your Social #?

I went to the track last night and as I was filling out the card and you had to enter in your Social security #, (as a recommended field). Why the hell are they wanting this?

They should only need that when you get a payout.

I think Lakeland's the only track around here that uses the last 4 for your car number. But yes, as already stated, it is in case you win money so that they can 1099 you at the end of the year. I always just leave it blank, even back when I raced in money races, you can always give it to them later if you win.
