Default Place to dispose of old rims/tires

Any place local I can take an old set of rims and tires to be disposed of, decent tires and original style steel wheels of an old mustang? Preferably free?

The landfill wont take them, and you have to be licensed to take them to the only place that does. You could try a tire store, but they may charge you to dispose of them. I would just drive by one at night and drop them off by their dumpster, they'll never know the difference.

You can sell the rims for scrap money. If they are metal, it would probably pay for your gas to get to the scrap yard. If they are aluminum, probably make a few bucks.
I throw out my worn out tires in my company's dumpster, but i throw out 1 tire per a week though.

Yeah you do this at one of our jobsites and you will be getting a bill for the pull at around $600, smart thinking though
