Default Anyone know a welder

That will weld a normal sized exhaust to my car. The sound is really getting on my nervous and lot of places wont touch my car (so they tell me ) b/c of it not having cats. I just want the custom exhaust cut off and a stock sized pipe put on. I gotta get it checked by a cop b/c of the fix it ticket. To prove that its stock. Can anyone help me out here? I need someoen they know WONT have a problem with doing exhaust work on the car without cats.

The cops dont know i dont have cats, they just said i have a modified exhaust, its a 4" , last time i got one of these the cop didnt even come out and look at the car. I dont think he knows i dont have cats or not, im just going to put a stock looking pipe, like 2" or something resonable and be done with it. so im not sure if they will check if i got cats or not.

WTF are you doing with a 4 inch exhaust their is no possable wya you would need that. go down to a 2.5 you do relize most of the new engines do need a little bit of back pressure.

no i dont have the exhaust, I wanna get like a 2, 2 1/2" nothing bigger, i have a 3" pipe running from headers. Im not sure if you can make a 1" jump in welding. If not i can get what ever sizes need to work my way down. Ill probally have to get one made.

But dont all you need is a pipe to attach from where you cut the other one off at that will stick out?
