SOB, my car just died.
So im bringing the lincoln to school like I normally do. And the engine shuts out on me, now this is completly normal for my car. So I turn the key to restart it like I normally do, and it just starts clicking, and all my lights turn off. So im thinking, shit, what did I just do. At this point im still rolling down the block trying to restart it, nothing, just a clicking sound. So I pull off to the side of the road and put it in park, try it again, nothing. Im thoroughly fucked here, and to think, I'm supposed to sell this thing today. So here I am, 7:19 waiting for the auto store to open so I can get my battery tested, just because when I put a screwdriver on the positive and rubbed the other side agaisnt the chassis, it didnt spark like it normally does...I really hope its just the starter solenoid though, because thats like 15 bucks, while a new starter is 80+. and a battery that fits is like 70+. I'm soooo pissed.
hmm..i think its just your battery...i had the same problem before...

Update...
Checked battery, its fine. Replaced starter solenoid and the battery cables. After I did this I wasnt even getting eletricity to the compartment?? So I checked all my fittings which were fine, got back in and had electricity again. Tryed to start her, and just got that clicking noise again. Then everything went dark again.
I'm pretty sure my starter is locked up, but what could be causing this eletric failure?
