Default quick question, silvias

real silvia

ok, so what would stop you from changing all the vin numbers from some random 240sx in a dump to this car. you could always say you modified it yourself. there has to be a way to prove it wrong though. other than that vin having a bad title.

please dont flame on me for this. im just wondering what would you have to do to make it seem like you modified it to be like that.

I do believe that's how many imports sell non-USDM vehicles. Take a Silvia for instance....they buy a similar 240sx and transfer over the VIN numbers, then register it is a regular 240sx that's been modified.

Werd,

I would think that switching the VINs wouldn't work too well, and probably get you in trouble, and if the car had to pass smog it wouldn't do to well.

'240SX' 'S14' and 'Silvia' are all 240SX/Silvia. I think the 'Skyline' part was added in to come up in more search results.

anyone ever seen the original gone in 60 seconds? buy a wrecked car at auction, preferably same color and model, swap vins, etc. it's highly illegal, but so are a lot of things and people still do them.
