yep that sounds like orlando, one of the things that makes orlando so fun to watch and hard to race on is the shitty prep, the us nationals are alot better i think, its shitty that miller lost the truck that was one fast/nasty sbc truck.i see alot of the people in radial who had cars that could dip into the 7s not even make the field.the 55 crew looks like the where having problems, troy blew the engine up in 3rd of qf and jr. didn't even get the nova into the field,8 ball rans 9s,and john from acme didn't make the show and thats the only sbc nos radial car i know thats been into the 7s.flip didn't even bring his camaro to the show.rick head was at the event but didn't bring the world record holdier out,the mustang that gave head a run for his money last year was there but only got a couple of low 8s passes and that was it.wade took the event over smooky hall when hall red lighted by.003 hall witch clicked of a 7.90 and wade threw a blower belt and ran into the 10s.the funny part is wade converted his car from a limited street car to a stock suspension car only like 8 weeks ago that car sat for 2 years.he comes out and took memphis and orlando in 2 weeks.now theres just immokalee shoot out left and the sunshine heads up madness make up date.

There does always seem to be an air of "unprofessionalism" there Honestly though, pick any track around here and I can tell you a story about horrible response to wrecks or fires or both. Everyone make sure all your safety equipment is in check, you may be all you've got

We would have gone, but we spent 13 hours on the road saturday night/sunday morning repo'ing a car in the panhandle

Me and some friends were standing on the pit side just past were the truck stopped.
When the driver finally made it out of the truck, he ran to the opposite side of the truck to get a fire extinguisher that was on the other side of the guard rail to put it out himself, and guess what, I was completely amazed when he thru it down (the extinguisher) because it didnt work. A lot a damage could have been prevented if they were prepared for an emergency. This sort of event is way out of thier league. Hope to see it at BMP next year!
