Default ***URGENT: Lug nut hex key

Buddy of mine (DrLivingston) needs to use or buy a hex key for "tuner" lug nuts. He hasn't been able to find one at any mainstream parts store, including Sears.

Needs one by tomorrow night if possble......... He did find a 14mm, but it was a tad too big; possibly i.d. 12mm or 13mm.

PM me or DrLivingston!

Thanks!

3/8 to small.....1/2 to big...i tried grinding down the side of a 1/2 but it never got the shape right and stripped inside....and they sell L or T handle hex bars that may fit but i dont wanna tightin wheel bolts down by hand with a T handle i rather get the right tool that the other end goes in a tire iron to tighten down

They are female. Kirk, 3/8" was the first thing I thought of...they're haxagonal (six-sided) though.

He's gone to a few tire shops, including Firestone, Goodyear, and Tires Plus.

I'd borrow yours, but I can't drive all that way, lol....

BTW, DrLivingston is the guy who's looking for Miata parts
