My bad then. From the way people were talking on here about him only working on serious all motor buildups and stuff like that I figured he wouldn't have time to work on simple things like this that any shop could do.

Check out this guy. http://www.jimhucks.com/ 10.8 in a full interior street crx. Car ran 10.8s last weekend on 24lbs of boost weighing 2300lbs. For anyone to think it's not possible to pull enough weight out of it by turning it into a true race car and make enough power by adding more boost to put it into the 9s is just ignorant. And I bet if I took my time and waited for deals and used used parts I could do exactly what he did and could do for under 6grand.

The axle setup alone on that car is over 2 grand. The turbo is over $1000. The work to the cylinder head (labor) is at least $1500-2000, Haltech is over $1300.

Well there is 6 grand right there and you don't even have a car, motor, tranny, suspension, cage, slicks, ect....

You need at least $15k-$20k to build a car of that caliber.

Do you have any idea how much work and test and tune it took that Crx to hit 10's on street tires? You are crazy. The difference between 9's and 10's is night and day. Trust me i have been trying to hit 9's and it is harder then i thought and much harder then you think. It is not just power it is putting it down. A "Full interior" Crx wieghs shit and you cant compare it to anything else besides a go cart. Not taking anythging away from the Crx but not many cars on the road are thast small or weigh that much. My friends weighs 1500lbs and could be lighter. Show me one import that has hit 9's cheaply.
