This will most likely get locked but anyways.....I'm not trying to start anything I just wanna know why certain people on here have so much disrespect for Saturns... Honestly I give the Saturn guys mad props... Do yous guys know that most of them make and mod their own parts and are just as knowegeable about their cars as you are.... And hey they aren't all slow they invest time N money in their cars just as much as you do! Oh and by the way GM owns Saturns, Cavys oh and Firebirds! So how is it you can give respect to them and believe they can turn awesome times but a Saturn can't Comeon guys I'm under the impression that with enough time and money anything can be fast! And isn't this about the fun of racing! Why the constant dogging on other people's cars that they care about just as much as you! Saturn people on this forum as well as Everyone else donate money and go to The TR events! Can't show respect for everyone who has the same common goal as you!

i dont think that people "hate saturns" i think is how the owner carries him/herself that makes people more acceptive of saturns. for example the turbo saturn in tampa i think its green, i talked to him awhile back he was a really cool guy, laid back and his car was pretty damn fast. on the other hand there is a guy in the hudson area that is constantly running his mouth claiming he was going to catch up to cars he was losing to, he never admits he got beat and he makes an ass of himself on a regular occasion. so everyone basicly hates him and his car. also it takes time to get used to new cars out there.. saturn all of a sudden has cars trying to compete with other imports and some accept it and others call it "gay" its all personal choice

I can respect someone taking a slow car and making it quick as long as they modify the car intelligently and know a hell of a lot about their car. If you are the kid who's parents bought him a saturn and you are trying to make it fast by adding parts from autozone, then I hate you. An example of a car I would respect even though it is originally slow is a well built turbo civic.

As far as hating saturns, yes I hate them very much. I think they are the worst auto brand in production, although I must admit they are doing a little better. I have driven quite a few saturns, and I honestly believe that everyone in hell will have to drive saturns as punishment. Saturns feel shittier than a hyundai, and that is pretty hard to do. If you want to go through all the trouble of making a saturn quick then go for it, but every time I see a modded saturn i think WHY? and WTF.
