the honda truck was rated the number one truck out of all the major brands though. its not too sharp but its growing on me. it has some cool little options.

this truck just looks like all the other trucks in its class.. as someone said above me, its a dodge and a toyota mixed. nothing special.

 

The honda truck is nothing special. Atleast the mitsu truck will come with something called torque. Something honda has never grasped.

 

Its a rebadged Dodge dakota.
Dodge has been putting a V8 in there mid size for years.

But really, I do like the look AND performance of the Mitsu better than the Honda. It's not biased. If anything, I should hate Mitsubishi.....I own two and neither run.

 

yeah but compare the two v6's... the honda has 250-somethin ft lbs. when the mitsu has like 235. you cant really compare the v8 against a v6. two different classes of trucks. its like comparing the eclipse gt vs. honda coupe.

dodge/mitsu is the only one who offers a v8 and has been for years. so nothings really changed. its still nothing special to me.


if you want torque and something worth buying to work with, then just go full size. you cant do shit with that truck anyways. it has soft suspension and a crappy tow load. thats why no trucks in that class come with v8's.

 

It's enough to tow average stuff a truck is used for. Lawn mower trailers, jet ski's, gokarts, wood, boats(depending on size).

I definitally wouldnt try towing a boat(not even a 16.5" and thats a very small family boat) with the honda "truck".

 

but i love all the commercials how they try make other companies cars look bad.....e.g. the FD bowing to the new eclipse, HAHAHAH right. and for this truck, anopther truck like pees its self.

I cant find the exact specs on the towing though, do you think it would be able to tow a car trailer?? wouldnt it be bad ass to tow the silver bullet with a silver raider???

 

honda doesnt make a truck, they make an accord with a bed.

 

Just look up the stats on a new dodge dakota v8. Its the same truck. And yes it will tow your car.
