Some of their product seriously lack in quality. Bought a 4.5" wheel grinder, the motor burned out after 15 mins use. But i have a 1" concrete hammer drill, after 1 year of use, its still going strong.
Their typical tools such as hammers, screw drivers are made with cheap steel that isnt as strong as say...Craftsman. The typical tools are fine for home/residental use, but not for commercial/industrial use when the reliability of your tools is top notch in order to get the work done properly with little time on labor.
For example, the cheap drill bits keep breaking, so it needs to be replaced with new ones over and over. It wont be much time until the labor fees and timing to get the job done on time verses spending a little more on the drill bit, and pay less labor to get the job done.

I like their aluminum floor jacks. EXACT same jack as the Craftsman version, only it doesn't cost $200. May have to pick one up.

Im curiuos what kinda job you do,not what yoru family owns.I bet your a pencil pusher.
I did mechanic work for almost 10 yrs, around 8 in shops to be exact.I would not buy Made in Tiawan/China shit. But theres alot of stuff at Harbor freight I would buy,Engine lifts,Floor jacks and stands

Heres a few things I picked up today,
10 ft 3 prong extension cord=1.99
3 prong/3 outlet plug adaptor=2.99

Since I have been learning to paint, and been painting at my job for the last 2 months,I decided to pick up and try the top feed spray guns.I heard that design was better than the bottom feed ones.

Heres the gun I got.
http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=47016

It was on sale for 12.99 though.
If I get to paint 1 full car with it,Im satisfied. 30 day cash back warrenty/90 day part trade warrenty.
You can have 1 and or 2 year extended warenty, for another 5. or 10. Not to bad.

I got it this morning about 9.I went to work and already used the gun.. I thought the pressure sucked, but the regulator was adjust down low,the fan open/closed diameter was good, and good as our industrial sprayers we use.

Im satisfied.for today

Yeah, i got one of them paint sprayers too, the exact same ones. They do the work just fine. Typical things that dont require much quality is what HarborFreight is good at supplying.
My parents owns/runs a metal fabrication shop.
I personally dont really like to buy things from HarborFrieght because 98% of their products is from China. I dont like china, and other countries like india, much because they are taking alot of US jobs away from here.

I would say thats bias, from some ones whos parents are not from the US.
I myself, are not from here either,I dont care if it was made in China.

I wouldnt buy many tools from thier cause of the qaulity, then from its Orgin..

But on a side note,
What shoes do you wear..
Do you know, most Nike,Reebok,Addidas, etc etc etc are made in Third world countries,as In China,Thailand,Korea..?

Shit before you get dressed next time, check the tags.
Then rethink your comment

Matco tools is the only one that has all of their shit still in the U.S. IIRC. Just had a rep come in.

The general consensus for the shop is that if you only need to use it a few times, go Harbor Freight. There stuff is usually hit and miss...half of it will last quite a while, the other half will break on sight I think Harbor Freight has a sale every weekend though or something
