the car runs fine and has cold air conditioning. it does have two issues...a cv joint clicks...and the alternator needs to be replaced. as far as ceramic coating the exhaust manifold, exhaust housing, o2 housing...that is probably going to happen along with a slight turbo upgrade. otherwise, i'm just going with a downpipe, exhaust, eliminate the cat and go with a slightly more free-flowing exhaust. as emodsm has already mentioned...i usually get a little carried away with each vehicle i have and more mod's end up happening as a result...however i'm gonna try to keep this car as stock as i can.

A few years back my friend bought a mx-6 identical to that one that the previous owner turboed and removed it before the sale.The car was very nice and quite reliable.I have friends at several tow yards and finds like that are pretty cool.I recently ran into a guy with a bone stock colt gt(i recognized the body molding and Gt emblem) around 4am in riverview that wouldnt sell.Back to topic nice find chet.

 

Brother owned one, and my best friend in high school owned 2. First one he rolled down a hill, bent the shit out of the body, but it still ran long enough for us to really kill it at the junkyard. For what you paid thats a steal.

Does it have the little vents that swing back and forth automatically? That feature was the cats meow.

Yeah, there is not hope for it. Just clean it up a little, and maintain the hell out of it. Leave all you money for modding the colt. Or even buying something moe worth while than pouring it into such an old and forgotten car. Oops, not the colt.
