My silver car just got 116.8 mi to 1/4 tank, thus 467.2 miles to the tank, divided by 18.5 gallons per tank means 25mpg. Only boosted once. This is after having an entire engine, intercooler, intercooler piping, intake piping, and entire exhaust system coated with oil from a turbo seal going bad. How about that? My land barge gets better mileage than your much lighter 240

+1. I see maybe a 1mpg increase when I baby it. On the highway going to and from school its up near 26mpg, but Im stuck at 20mpg for daily driving.

I didn't even see anyone with a 240 post on here. At least, not one listed ast thier car under the avatar. So how much does your Supra weigh, anyhow?

Unless your 17 year old gas gauge is accurate, which it probably never was, that's not even how to calculate gas mileage. Reset the trip meter when you refill, then calculate based on that number when you get gas again.

Eh, I probably can still get better mileage then 3500 lbs - 3700 lbs.

I did I'm doing it again though. There have been a few guys who've gotten as much as 28 in these before, but with extreme conditions like careful driving, intake exhaust, leaning out, blah blah etc. More often than not, they end up boosting anyways though

Damn man...where did you get that info from then? I think this is the 2nd time I've googled looking for it.

FYI the Buick weighs around 3,800 lbs, and the Datsun is around 2,800 lbs. A similar size car with an extra 700-900 lbs is a absolute pig.

The MkII cars were sepperated into "P-type" and "L-type", where P was performance (10 HP MORE!) and L was luxury--same overall really, hardly any difference between the two, so they combined it to make it faster and luxurious. Uber-cruiser that survives colision with everything. Supposedly, just the front bumper support weighs 45 lbs. I've seen the a-pillar cut in half, and theres at least an inch of steel between the sides!

I get 20mpg with normal driving in the linc, but whenI floor it I can just watch the gas gauge drop like a brick. When I had my 92 cougar with the 5.0 if I drove like a granny the car ran like shit and was sluggish, but if I ran it wide open like I hated it it ran like a demon.god I miss that car.
