It is probably cause of the incident that happened here in largo

From what I understand, this has been a TSB for quite a long time. I wonder what took so long to make it an official recall. We've had quite a few vehicle fires because of this very issue.

you work at a dealer or something? Was it just the 1/2 chassis that was effect , f150 and expeditions.

Um there has been known issues with this since back in 97 or 98 i believe. Why there isn't a huge outcry from the slackness that allowed a known deadly issue to go unattended is beyond me.

It was, until this point for them to settle out of court than do a recall, thats how they decide to do recalls, its an equation of the likelyness of the problem happening and if its not high enough they just settle out of court.

yeah I watch too much fight club.
