get the civic and actually make it handle well, and mod the engine to make it more responsive. don't make it like the 99.5% of people around here with civics that build retarded straight line, laggy, crappy set up turbo hondas.

They are the same price..... what might that price be? IMO, I would get the hatch. You would be able to sell it alot faster then the prelude if you ever have too.

i meant people with crappy backyard thrown together turbo kits with like t3 volvo turbos, or ones with massive turbos that can't get traction, and just sit there and spin the tires forever. i'm not into drag racing, but i do respect people who build good cars no matter what there for. i just want to see a fast crx or ef with full suspension and a built b16 or w/e with like itb's, that would make me smile.

i have a 93 prelude with aftermarket suspension and i think it handles nicely - get the prelude. Different is always better, that's why I also drive a nissan pulsar.......

Yes everyone has a civic, but that should tell you something. Theyre so easy to make fast.
Is the civic a coupe or a hatch?
Get the civic and later down the road, swap in a 2.0L bottom end. Theres no reason you shouldnt at least be in the 13's with a 2.0 and at least the 14's with a near stock B16...

i don't know about "easy to make fast." taking a torqueless four-banger and making it respectable is a challenge. that's what i've always loved so much about well-built hondas.
