I have seen a few posts on the site and heard some rumblings that some feel that the site is being neglected. While I can assure you that this isn't the case and we could turn this thread into a lengthy discussion on the subject...that's not what this thread is about.

This is about actually doing something to help the community and help get TR's name out in the public eye. How are you going to do this? Well, I already made a post today about the "Tampa Helps" event this weekend being held at the American Legion post on Dale Mabry & Kennedy to help raise money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina and this is a spin-off of that.

We've been given the opportunity to have 5 parking spots coned off for us right across the driveway from the main entrance to the Legion. We'll have the TR banner out there, so what I need from you is at least 5 cars to use to fill those parking spots. I know the event goes from 11-6 so we might need more then 5 so that people can switch off if they have to leave.

So, get to work and give me some names of people who'd be willing to showcase their cars at this event and help promote TR. If it doesn't look like it's going to happen I'm givng those spaces up.

Even if you don't have a car that you think would fit with what I just mentioned above you can still come out and show your support for this event and for the site.

It's time to put up or shut up now...

It's an indoor event, so it shouldn't be a problem about seating.

 

I've actually got a meeting to go to from 1-3pm across town...so I'll be there early and then later in the day...

 

You can use my car if you want but I will only be able to stay for a few hours depending on everything, I have a couple more Supras coming aswell
