Congrats to John Shep. He shattered his old record of 8.5 this weekend by running a qualifying 8.14 @ 177mph then running 8.13 @ 177mph second round. He holds the world record for fastest awd car with nitrous and without nitrous. I can't wait to see what he does in person at the nopi even in bradenton on oct 8-9.

 

Can't wait to see him stomping ass at nopi.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the esx car that runs in sheps class is actually driven by a girl. And ran only 8.85 twice and all other times it has been low 9s. Also is that a gutbox tube car? Edit I noticed that is their pro mod car. If thats the best their pro mod car can do I would think their sportsman car has a long path ahead of it before it hits mid 8s.

Those times from this weekend are sick. I can remember back when Titan shifted their way to 9.0 @ 160 on BFG's, and I thought that was the most ridiculous timeslip I'd ever see from that class. Amazing how fast the gears go by in the video.
