last night there were 2 RX7s ( 1 primer and 1 gold) and a 240sx (primer) that were escorted off the bridge on the st. Pete side by 3 tampa pd officers. Upon coming to a complete stop all three were cuffed and read their rights. Througout the process several other officers joined in including a pinellas deputy and several troopers. While sorting out the arrested the 240 caught on fire and had to be extinguished by the officers on the scene. Apparently one of the RX7s was uninsured, unregistered and not tagged so in the end all three drivers were arrested and taken to jail while all three cars got inpounded/taken back to tampa. Anyone know these people?....TPD made it pretty obvious they were going to bring them across and use them as examples

i raced the two rx7's right b4 they got arrested and one kid (i believe the 240) was underage and released to his parents not arrested

 

street racing = you deserve what you get when you wreck and die.

people will do whatever they want and they will never learn thats why street racin goes on still today............. after what happened last night people willl STILL go out saturday and race on that same bridge
