Avon Tires???
Anyone ever tried them? Ratings from TireRack for them is outstanding.

im sure orionsuperkaokenzygarian's knowledge is extensive on tires.
i forget for the moment what company makes avon, or is the parent company or whatever, but they are supposedly pretty nice.
for the money though, theres just as good, or better, and more readily available.
also, the kumho 712 has been replaced by the ecsta spt.

I'm very happy with my 712s, especially with how well they grip even in the rain, and all for just $300 all around for some 16s.
