The seat it would be replacing in my case is 80lbs old power drivers seat w/lumbar = heavy. 27lbs is much better than 80, plus I can use 5 point harness'

Are you saying a non reclining sparco seat wont keep you in place? You bolt it to where you want it at and leave it. I had a sprint sparco seat that saw 40+ hrs a week of seat time and I loved it to death.

To each their own. I like the light weight non adjustable seat myself. I am not one to drive all leaned back anyway. I like to sit upright. Of all the high quality non adjustable race seats I have sat in. They have been just right and comfortable.
