Rear diff fluid questions..
LUCAS oil additives are horrible for everything. NEVER USE THEM!!!
And for a welded diff just get a good quality 75-90 or higher. Go synthetic if you want to.

here's a logical question. How do we know the Royal Purple is the "HOT SHIT" compared to the other brands like Valvoline etc.? has there been any hard data confirming that Royal Purple is the good stuff or is it just because it is expensive, therefore it must be good. I beat the piss out of my LSD with factory recommended weight Valvoline. No problems here yet and she has 110,000 mile on her.
Jsut wondering if anyone can provide facts that stand by the claims that Royal Purple is "all that and a bag of *insert random shit*".

Pour Valvoline into a transmission, shift into gears and get the feeling of it. Then drain about 2 quarts, and pour 1 bottle of Royal Purple. Then compare. It will leave with the person saying "Ahhhh, that's so smooth." It will be better if its not mixed with other oils.
I have it on my S14, so does my little bro and Vang. This stuff is magic, feels like there's no fluid in the tranny. Cost only $25 to fill up the tranny, but I'll pay more to have it.
