The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.

Give it time to grow on you, I did.

Now I'm not sure about the skittle, but it probably has a pentroof hemi shaped head. Which is a wedge, nothing hemispherical about it.

Every car maker is trying out do one another by offering something that the other doesnt. Everyone of them have their own goals, so it's rather difficult to say who really is the best car maker. Now, just because some automaker is releasing a full line of new designed cars, it doesnt mean that they are ahead of the game. There's nothing odd about people supporting certain automobile brands. Everyone have their own reasons.
John is pretty much correct up there. Nissan forgot that they used to make rwd 4 cylinder cars. What is a honda? Dodge is smart for discontinuing the sr4. With the price of automobile fuel, i think everyone is struggling to produce vehicles with big output, but very little input.

And are you saying that Dodge, GM and Ford use the same heads? Good luck swapping the heads off this...
on to this...

Mazda is putting out a lot of nice cars these days too. Even their entry level 3 is damn nice, best fit and finish of ANY car 25k and under. The Mazdaspeed6 is going to be a Legacy GT contender, and the Mazdaspeed3 is WRX hunting. The new Miata is growing on me, and the RX8 is a real head turner lacking some balls under hood.
Companies that dropped the ball:
Subaru - Tribeca front end = wtf were you thinking award of the year
Honda - hello? Anybody home? Uninspired pedestrian cars.
Nissan - periodically seems to forget what it's always been best at: light, affordable, fun to drive RWD cars. This is one of those periods.
Toyota: their number has been forwarded to Hondas.

Also I think Toyota needs to come out with a sports car.
